What Is Telenor SIM Data Check?

A Telenor SIM data check means verifying three things about your Telenor number: who it is registered to, which package is currently active, and what balance remains.

These three checks are completely separate. Each one uses a different code or method. Most people search for all three at once, so this guide covers everything in one place — verified working steps for 2026.

Telenor Pakistan serves around 47 million subscribers on the 0345, 0346, 0347, 0348, and 0349 number ranges. It also owns Easypaisa, the country’s second-largest mobile wallet. That Easypaisa link makes performing a regular Telenor SIM data check particularly important for your financial security.

According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), millions of SIMs across all networks remain improperly verified — making Telenor SIM data checks a responsibility every subscriber should take seriously. PTA’s official SIM verification resources are available at pta.gov.pk.

How to Check Telenor SIM Owner Name

There are five official and legal methods available. Pick the one that fits your situation. Every method listed here is verified against official Telenor and PTA documentation as of 2026.

Method 1: Send “MNP” to 667

This is the fastest way to confirm whether the Telenor SIM in your phone is registered on your own CNIC. The result arrives in under 30 seconds.

  1. Open Messages

    Launch your phone’s Messages app.

  2. Type MNP

Compose a new message with the text: MNP

  3. Send to 667

Send the message to 667 and wait for the reply.

The reply shows the registered owner’s name along with a partially masked CNIC number. The last three or four digits are visible so you can cross-check without your full ID being exposed.

This only checks the SIM physically inserted in your phone. It does not check other SIMs and does not give you a complete list of all SIMs on your CNIC.

Method 2: Send Your CNIC to 7751 (Biometric Verification Status)

This code tells you whether your Telenor SIM is properly biometrically verified on your CNIC.

  1. Open Messages

    Launch your Messages app.

  2. Type your 13-digit CNIC without dashes

    Example: 4220112345671

  3. Send to 7751

The reply confirms whether your SIM is “BVS Verified” or “Not Verified.”

If the result says “Not Verified,” visit any Telenor franchise with your original CNIC for biometric verification. An unverified SIM can be suspended at any time under PTA rules.

Method 3: SMS Your CNIC to 668 (Full CNIC Audit)

This is the most comprehensive method and the one PTA officially recommends to all Pakistani mobile users. It shows every SIM registered across all networks on your CNIC — not just Telenor.

  1. Open Messages

    Launch your Messages app.

  2. Type your 13-digit CNIC without dashes

    Example: 4220112345671

  3. Send to 668

You receive a reply within 60 seconds listing every SIM tied to your CNIC across all networks.

Sample reply format: “Dear Customer, 3 SIMs are registered on your CNIC: 0345-XXXXXXX (Telenor), 0301-XXXXXXX (Jazz), 0332-XXXXXXX (Ufone). For details visit cnic.sims.pk.”

This method costs approximately Rs. 2 including tax.

Method 4: PTA Portal — cnic.sims.pk (Online, Printable)

The official PTA web portal for SIM owner verification — free and accessible from anywhere in the world.

  1. Go to cnic.sims.pk

Open any browser and navigate to cnic.sims.pk.

  2. Enter your CNIC

Type your CNIC number without dashes.

  3. Complete the captcha and submit

A structured table appears showing all SIMs on your CNIC, by operator, activation date, and status — active, blocked, or suspended.

This is the only method that produces printable documentation — useful if you need to report a fraudulent SIM to police, a bank, or any legal authority.

Method 5: Call Telenor Helpline 345

For human assistance, to correct wrong registration details, or to escalate a problem — call 345 directly from your Telenor number. The helpline is available 24/7. After basic identity verification, the agent can confirm your SIM’s registered owner name, CNIC, biometric status, and activation date, and can initiate a SIM disowning request or flag unauthorized SIMs for you.

How to Check Your Active Telenor Package

Checking your current package is a separate process from the ownership check. Here are all working codes as of 2026.

Remaining Internet MBs

Dial *999# from your Telenor number. A pop-up shows your remaining data, validity date, and package details. This works on all Telenor prepaid SIMs across 3G, 4G, and 5G.

Remaining Call Minutes

Dial *222#. This shows remaining on-net minutes, off-net minutes, and any bonus minutes depending on your active package.

Remaining SMS

Dial *111# from your number to see your remaining text count.

Full Package Summary

Dial *123# for a complete overview of all your remaining resources and the exact package expiry date. This is the most comprehensive single code for a full resource summary.

Telenor charges approximately Rs. 0.20 to Rs. 0.24 plus tax per USSD inquiry. To avoid this charge entirely, use the My Telenor App — all package checks there are completely free.

How to Check Telenor Balance

Prepaid Main Balance

Dial *444# from your Telenor SIM. Your remaining main balance appears on screen within seconds. This works on all prepaid packages including Talkshawk and Djuice. The charge is Rs. 0.24 plus applicable tax per check.

Free Balance Check via My Telenor App

Open the My Telenor App after logging in with your number. Your balance, data, and minutes all appear on the home screen in real time — no codes, no charges.

For Postpaid Users

USSD codes like *444# are for prepaid only. Postpaid users should check their current bill and usage through the My Telenor App or by calling 345 for billing details.

Balance Save

If you want to protect your main balance from being used when your data package runs out, activate Balance Save by dialing *7799#. This stops internet from draining your main credit the moment your MB bundle finishes.

Easypaisa Connection

Since Telenor owns Easypaisa, your SIM balance and wallet are closely linked. Securing your SIM identity is one of the most critical steps for protecting a linked mobile wallet from fraud — a compromised SIM gives attackers direct access to your Easypaisa account.

Telenor SIM Limit Per CNIC in 2026

As of 2026, every CNIC in Pakistan can have a maximum of 8 SIMs total across all networks — 5 voice SIMs and 3 data SIMs. This limit was set by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on 5 November 2015 and remains in force.

PTA also introduced a 365-day SIM disowning rule in May 2026. A newly activated SIM cannot be formally disowned or transferred for one full year, except in cases of proven fraudulent issuance.

If your 668 check or cnic.sims.pk result shows more SIMs than you recognise, act immediately — unknown SIMs are a serious financial and identity security risk.

What to Do If You Find an Unauthorized Telenor SIM

Finding an unknown SIM on your CNIC is serious. Fraudsters use such SIMs to commit crimes, open illegal Easypaisa accounts, and intercept your OTPs for banking fraud. In 2025, SIM fraud-related losses in Pakistan reached Rs. 22.3 billion — with Easypaisa-linked cases making up a significant share.

  1. Screenshot the Evidence

Take a dated screenshot of your 668 SMS reply or your cnic.sims.pk results showing the unauthorized Telenor SIM.

  2. Call Telenor Helpline 345

Report the unauthorized SIM immediately. Ask for an emergency block and note the reference number they give you.

  3. Visit a Telenor Franchise with Your Original CNIC

Complete fingerprint biometric verification in person. Say the exact words “SIM Disowning” at the counter. You will receive a written reference number — keep it safe.

  4. File a PTA Complaint

Visit complaint.pta.gov.pk or call 0800-55055. Attach your dated screenshot and the franchise reference number as proof.

  5. Report to NADRA if Identity Misuse Occurred

If your CNIC details were used fraudulently, contact NADRA at nadra.gov.pk/customer-support to flag your identity record.

  6. Secure Your Easypaisa Wallet

Since Telenor and Easypaisa are the same company, a compromised Telenor SIM gives attackers direct access to your wallet. Change your Easypaisa PIN immediately and switch OTP delivery to an authenticator app if possible.

Yes. Checking your balance, package, or data through the My Telenor App has no inquiry charges whatsoever.

What does “Not Verified” mean on the 7751 biometric check?

It means your SIM has not completed biometric verification. PTA can suspend unverified SIMs at any time. Visit any Telenor franchise with your original CNIC to complete the process quickly.

How do I find my Telenor number if I forgot it?

Dial *8888# from your Telenor SIM. Your number appears on screen instantly, even with zero balance.
