Running out of Zong balance without knowing it can be frustrating. This guide will help you avoid that problem.

In this guide, you will find Zong USSD codes for checking your balance, internet MBs, call minutes, and SMS. Everything is explained in one place in simple English.

Zong is a brand of China Mobile Pakistan and is one of Pakistan’s major 4G LTE networks. Its USSD codes work without internet, so you can use them on both basic phones and smartphones.

Remember: To use a Zong USSD code, type the code in your phone’s dial pad and press the call button. The result appears on your screen, and you do not need an internet connection.

1. Zong Balance Check Code

The easiest way to check your main Zong balance is to dial this code:

Primary Code *222#

A popular and quick code. A charge of Rs. 0.05 + tax may apply.

Alternative Code *310#

This opens the main menu. Select the balance option.

Full Balance Check *102#

It can also show your remaining resources.

Step-by-Step: Check your balance with *222#

  1. Open your phone’s dial pad

Use the same app you normally use to make calls.

  2. Type *222#

Type star, then 222, then hash (#), in exactly this order.

  3. Press the green call button

Press it the same way you normally make a call.

  4. Check your balance on the screen

Your remaining balance will appear in a pop-up or SMS.

Charge note: *222# may cost approximately Rs. 0.05 to Rs. 0.24 + tax. If your balance is very low, try *102*1# first to check your remaining resources.

2. Zong Internet MBs Check Code

If you want to know how much internet data you have left, use this code:

Internet Data Code *102*5#

Shows your remaining internet MBs or GBs.

Call minutes are divided into on-net (Zong to Zong) and off-net (Zong to other networks). Each has a different code:

11. Tips to Save Zong Balance

Checking your balance is useful, but saving your balance is also important. These simple tips can help:

  1. Check unwanted subscriptions

Unknown VAS services can sometimes use your balance. Go to *310#, find “Services” or “Subscriptions,” and deactivate anything you do not need. You can also send “LIST” to 310.

  2. Turn off mobile data when you are not using it

Background apps can use mobile data. On Android, use Settings > Data Usage to limit background data. This can help avoid out-of-bundle charges.

  3. Use a bundle instead of using data without a bundle

Without a bundle, out-of-bundle data charges can be high. A suitable daily or weekly bundle can help control your balance usage.

  4. Use the balance-saving feature

Dial *310# and look for the “Balance Save” or subscription management option to help prevent unwanted deductions.
